Eagle to Unicorn Still Life

Final Render

Week 2: Unicorn detail work complete.

Week 2: I'm still at it. The outer edges are more refined on everything. The ring is back. I have the cord placement figured out and part of it drawn in. The left half of the unicorn's hard edges are refined with proper shadow and highlights.

Week 2: My progress for today was darkening the headphones using soft compressed charcoal. I used my erasers to pull some highlights back out of the headphones giving them added shape and volume. I softened the cast shadow on the wall too.

Week 1: Block in corrected, lines refined, simple details added, and cast shadows outlined. Don't worry, the stray lines will disappear when value is added.

Week 1 submitted: Initial value block in. I intentionally went light on some of the black value at this phase so I don't loose my lines. I also lost the ring which I can pull back out during the next phase. The cord will be last.
